Summary

The AfriFOODChronicles translates AfriFOODLinks research and knowledge into an accessible, visually engaging format for public and practitioner audiences. The series is located across the five AfriFOODLinks Hub cities of Cape Town, Kisumu, Mbale, Ouagadougou, and Tunis. The series is organised into four thematic strands, totalling sixteen editions.

The first 5 editions consisted of one edition per hub city to introduce the local urban food system. These editions covered the history of food in the city,  urban food governance, access, as well as the role of informal markets in the city. These five editions were an entry point for readers who were unfamiliar with the cities and/or urban food systems research.
