ICLEI is seeking a contractor or consortium to translate this concept into a complete, practical and replicable curriculum and incubation methodology. This contract is for curriculum and methodology development only, not delivery of the 18-month incubator.

ICLEI Africa invites applications from interested service providers to provide quotations for motorbike/bicycle cooler boxes for the “Cold Chain Solutions: Strengthening Quelimane’s Central Market”.
To reduce fish spoilage, cooler boxes are to be introduced to fish vendors, providing better storage solutions and supporting the extension of fresh fish delivery across the city via mobile last-mile vendors (e.g., bicycles or motorbikes). This will open new business opportunities, ensure fresher fish for consumers, and reduce waste. In parallel to supplying cooler boxes, the project is implementing a training on food safety and hygiene to the beneficiary vendors, and sponsoring a starter-pack for ice credits to substantiate the cooler box project.
This Request for Quotation (RfQ) invites suppliers to quote for the supply of Cooler boxes that can be fixed to motorbikes and bicycles to transport fish.
Deadline for applications: 15 August 2025, 13:00 (SAST)
