Summary
This report analyzes four food policy-oriented Living Labs implemented in Chefchaouen, Lusaka, Ouagadougou, and Dakar within the AfriFOODlinks project. It presents a participatory methodology based on open innovation and multi-stakeholder engagement to support urban food governance. Living Labs are framed as processes that integrate dialogue, co-design, and real-world experimentation to address complex food system challenges. The experiences generated context-specific outputs—such as governance models, action plans, and policy recommendations—while also strengthening collaboration, knowledge, and stakeholder ownership.
